Sheilds Fence Company is owned and operated by Jake Shields. Jake has been interested in welding and fabrication for a long time. He actually bought his first welder at age 12! Jake grew up in rural Jasper County working on his family farm. His artist-like attention to detail, paired with his exceptional welding and fabricating skills quickly landed him a job with a local manufacturer where he gained valuable experience. As folks took notice of Jake’s skills, his list of work grew by word of mouth and eventually, he decided to make it his full time work, founding Sheilds Fence Company which he operates daily with the help of his brother, Wyatt and a small but dedicated and hardworking crew.
